Description
Créé en 1982, ce camp réunit tous les ans de 100 à 150 jeunes de 12 à 20 ans. Sous l'égide de plus de vingt professeurs diplômés et de 2 directeurs, les jeunes ont la possibilité (durant la première semaine) d'améliorer leur technique musicale, leur sonorité, de découvrir d'autres manières de travailler, autrement dit de se perfectionner pour leur bien et pour celui de leur société. En plus de ces activités musicales, une partie de l'après-midi est consacré à des activités sportives. La deuxième semaine, le programme est tout autre. Matin et après-midi, les jeunes se retrouvent réunis en 4 formations: 2 ensembles à vent selon leur niveau, 1 corps de tambours et 1 groupe de percussion. Les deux semaines de camp se terminent par deux grands concerts afin de partager avec un nombreux public le fruit de leur travail. En 2011, le spectacle "Dracula" a été produit pour le 30e camp. En 2016 et en 2022, les spectacles "Chevalier" et "Aux suivants" ont été présentés à Ste-Croix.
De nombreux jeunes vaudois(es) ont participé à ces camps. Si certain(e)s n'en ont fait qu'un seul, d'autres sont venus chaque année pendant huit ans.
Le 41e Camp d’été se déroulera du lundi 3 juillet au vendredi 14 juillet 2023 à Ste-Croix
